Lead Compliance Manager
Location: Northern Ireland
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
MCS Group are pleased to be working with a long-established and market-leading family-owned business with operations across various food & drink areas to recruit for a Lead Compliance Manager. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for ensuring compliance with current and future legislation while protecting the financial and reputational integrity of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead compliance activity across all business areas in Northern Ireland.
* Implement and manage legislative changes (e.g. Windsor Framework, DRS, EPR, AWRS).
* Develop, update, and oversee compliance policies and procedures.
* Liaise with auditors, government bodies, and trade associations.
* Manage, coach, and develop the compliance team.
* Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate and compliant processes.
About You:
* Degree or diploma in a business-related field.
* Proven compliance experience in wholesale, retail, or alcohol environments.
* Strong knowledge of industry legislation (e.g. Windsor Framework, Plastic Tax, Tobacco Track and Trace).
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Analytical, detail-focused, and highly organised.
* Strong leadership with experience managing and developing teams.
