Role Overview
The Contract Stock Condition Surveyor will be responsible for undertaking stock condition surveys across the client housing portfolio. The role will involve collecting, recording, and analysing property data to inform investment planning, compliance, and maintenance programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out stock condition surveys across a range of housing types
Accurately record property data in line with The systems and reporting requirements
Identify repairs, compliance issues, and future investment needs
Support the delivery of asset management strategy and compliance obligations
Ensure inspections comply with health, safety, and housing standards
Provide accurate reports and recommendations for property investment planning
Requirements
Previous experience as a Stock Condition Surveyor (preferably in social housing)
Knowledge of Decent Homes Standard, HHSRS, and housing compliance regulations
Strong property inspection and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good IT/data entry skills for updating survey records
