Job Description
Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across different age groups and abilities
* Follow the national curriculum and school guidelines to create lesson plans
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
* Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
* Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Required Qualifications:
* Enhanced DBS check
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
* Prior experience as a teacher in a school setting
* Experience working with diverse student populations
Knowledge and Skills:
* Thorough understanding of the national curriculum
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
* Strong classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
* Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school environment with varying classroom settings
* Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities or parent meetings
* May require some travel between schools within the region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
