What’s in it for you? * Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm * Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 * Annual bonus scheme * 31 days holiday (including bank holidays) * Contributory pension * On-site parking * Friendly, professional, and collaborative team culture Assistant Finance Manager Key Responsibilities * Support the Finance Manager in overseeing day-to-day finance operations across the group * Prepare and review monthly management accounts, including international entities * Deliver insightful financial analysis, reporting, and commentary to support strategic decision-making * Manage and oversee UK payroll and maintain accurate HR/financial records * Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations across multiple accounts * Prepare and submit VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance * Lead month-end and year-end processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations * Maintain and improve financial reports, spreadsheets, and internal controls * Oversee credit card reconciliations and expense processes * Supervise, mentor, and develop two Accounts Assistants * Assist with process improvements and support wider finance projects Assistant Finance Manager Skills & Experience * Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Senior Assistant Accountant * Strong knowledge of management accounts preparation and financial reporting * Experience working in a multi-entity and/or multi-currency environment (highly desirable) * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) * Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities * Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across departments * Proven ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and support junior team members This role offers the perfect balance of technical accounting, team leadership, and business partnering, making it an ideal next step for someone looking to progress their career within a high-quality, international brand
