We are currently working with a small, friendly and well-established accountancy firm based in the Mansfield area, who are looking to recruit a Part-Time Payroll & Bookkeeping Assistant to join their close-knit team.

The Role
This is an office-based position, working closely with the team and clients on a day-to-day basis.
Key duties will include:
Processing weekly and monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients
Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software
Preparing and submitting CIS returns
Bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Assisting with VAT returns
Liaising with clients to obtain financial information and respond to queries
Ensuring all work is completed in line with HMRC deadlines
The Candidate
Previous experience in payroll and bookkeeping is essential
Comfortable working independently within a small team environment
Good communication skills
