We are currently seeking an experienced Logistic Supervisor to join our team on a busy construction site. This is a key role, supporting the day-to-day coordination of materials, plant, traffic, and personnel to ensure the safe and efficient running of site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily logistics operations on-site, including deliveries, waste management, and traffic movement
* Coordinate with site management and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
* Supervise a team of traffic marshals, forklift drivers, and general operatives
* Maintain clear access routes and safe walkways throughout the site
* Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
* Enforce site rules, safety standards, and compliance with RAMS
* Keep accurate records of deliveries and materials stock levels
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS card
* SSSTS certificate (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
* Proven experience in a similar logistics or supervisor role within construction
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage a team and liaise with various trades and site management
* Military experience
