Previous experience managing a warehouse or production environment (ideally within food, building supplies or FMCG manufacturing environments).
Valid FLT licence and proven operating experience.
Strong organisational and stock-control skills with attention to detail.
Clear, confident communicator with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Good knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe working practices.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.
Ability to see the bigger picture and not be afraid of the challenge to get there Warehouse Manager - Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely and on time.
Oversee packing of finished products to meet quality and customer standards.
Conduct daily warehouse checks on cleanliness, equipment and safety compliance
Manage stock control: maintain accurate records, monitor levels, run regular counts and report discrepancies.
Manage the loading and unloading of deliveries, using forklift trucks (FLT) when needed.
Work closely with production, raw-materials and logistics teams to guarantee smooth workflow and timely dispatch.
Champion health, safety and hygiene policies.
Coach, support and train warehouse operatives to improve skills, efficiency and teamwork.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, to enhance productivity and reduce waste. About Us
