Operations Manager – UK Visa Sponsorship Jobs

VeryConnect is a technology platform provider focused on membership management, seeking an Operations Manager for its UK office.


Responsibilities

* Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle including contract modifications, internal policies and visa sponsorship procedures.
* Manage the end‑to‑end hiring process: job descriptions, applicant screening, offers and negotiations.
* Maintain and secure critical internal tools, monitoring system stability and data alarms.
* Handle business operations such as office services, insurance, facility management and third‑party vendor coordination.
* Oversee financial administration: day‑to‑day cost management, customer invoicing, reconciliations, payroll authorisation and year‑end VAT filings.
* Act as a trusted point of contact for confidential matters and communicate clearly and empathetically.


Qualifications

* Experience in business operations or human resources within fast‑paced B2B or SaaS environments.
* Strong attention to detail across contract drafting, invoicing and data management.
* Demonstrated leadership, line‑management skills and ability to unblock team members.
* Proficiency with administrative back‑end tools such as Xero and Google Admin.
* Comfortable working across multiple functional teams and in a startup setting.


Benefits

* Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
* 31 days annual leave and pension plan.

Location & Working Hours

Glasgow, Scotland – hybrid arrangement (three days on site, remainder remote). Monday to Friday with full‑time or part‑time options. Current contract is a 12‑month fixed‑term with potential extension or permanent transition.
