We’re currently recruiting reliable and hard-working HGV Class 2 and 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a dedicated refuse collection team in Exeter.
You’ll be out on the roads with the refuse crew, driving the bin lorries and supporting with collections. This is a physical role, involving movement of wheelie bins, sacks, and other heavy items, so a good level of fitness is essential.
Experience preferred but not essential.
Requirements:
1. Full HGV Class 2 or 7.5 Tonne licence
2. Valid CPC and Digital Tacho cards
3. Maximum of 6 penalty points
4. A positive, reliable attitude and good team spirit
Details:
5. For 7.5 tonne drivers, the pay rate is £14.36 per hour on PAYE accrued or £16.09 per hour on PAYE advanced.
6. For HGV Class 2 drivers, the pay rate is £15.58 per hour on PAYE accrued or £17.46 per hour on PAYE advanced.
7. 06:00 am start, job till finish
