Role responsibilities
1. Responsible for the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons within the national curriculum whilst meeting the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
2. Supporting the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours.
3. Reporting on pupils’ progress and concerns, and liaising with other school staff to ensure pupils' needs are met.
4. Supervision of pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
5. Building positive relationships with your pupils and driving interaction and positive learning outcomes.
Requirements
* Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
* Previous successful teaching experience, preferably teaching EYFS, Primary, or KS.
* Some previous experience working with pupils with SEND within an educational setting.
* Experience of behaviour management techniques.
* Committed to professional development and willing to learn.
* Willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work.
