Salary: Dependent on experience

* Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in Drama and Film Studies across Key Stages (Drama to Level, Film Studies to A Level).
* Developing students' creative, performance, and technical skills through both practical and theoretical teaching.
* Directing and supporting pupils in school productions, concerts, and performances.
* Encouraging creativity, teamwork, self-expression, and confidence in all learners.
* Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress in line with school policies.
* Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students of varying abilities.
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
* Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the Performing Arts curriculum and extracurricular opportunities.
* Staying up to date with current trends and practices in performing arts education.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* A degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Film Studies, or a related field (PGCE/QTS desirable).
* Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in Drama to Level and Film Studies to A Level.
* Experience teaching or directing young people in Performing Arts.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* The ability to inspire, motivate, and support students of varying abilities.
* A genuine passion for promoting creativity, cultural appreciation, and the performing arts within the school community.
