Job Description
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Manage a team of junior accountants and financial professionals
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation and standards
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations
* Conduct regular audits and identify areas for financial improvement
* Prepare and present financial forecasts to senior management
* Lead the budget planning process and monitor financial performance
* Implement effective strategies to optimise financial health and sustainability
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Accountant should have:
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial management principles
* Experience with consolidating accounts.
* Previous experience in working within a PLC.
