As Data Strategy Lead, (Internal grading: Senior Manager) you’ll build and lead a new in-house data function. From creating a centralised data warehouse to embedding analytics into marketing, operations, and membership strategy. You’ll be at the centre of the organisation’s shift toward insight-driven decision-making.
You’ll lead a small team and be the go-to voice for data across the organisation, acting as both a strategic advisor and a cultural change agent.
Defining and leading a data strategy aligned to organisational goals, acting as the primary advocate for insight-driven decisions, with execs, trustees, and internal teams
Managing a new team (Data Analyst and Data Engineer)
Leading the rollout of a new cloud-based data warehouse, with support from external partners
Championing the use of data across marketing, membership, eCommerce, sustainability and operations
Embedding data governance, compliance, and best practices
Strong leadership experience within data, analytics or strategy functions
Experience implementing or managing modern data platforms and cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Looker) and data warehousing platforms (e.g. You’ll own data transformation, building a modern, respected data capability from day one
You’ll engage at senior levels and help shape future hiring, tooling, and strategy
