Job Description
Summary/objective
The Corporate Warehouse Supervisor is a key member of the Corporate Warehouse Management team responsible for resource planning, and completion of all operational commitments in support of vendor receipts, production requirements, outbound franchise loads, pallet and tray accounts, and housekeeping requirements set forth by management. In addition, responsible for training employees on industrial equipment for general warehouse operations; WMS, and YMS system support.
Essential functions
·Must be familiar with warehouse, clerical/dispatch, production and premise/purchase area(s) in order to ensure best time management in completing his/her assigned duties.
·Warehouse (Production Support requirements):
oEnsure all employees are trained on the most recent version of WMS and YMS, and all warehouse activities, pertaining production support.
oEnsure accurate traceability of all purchase Orders (P.O.), and provide timely communication with Operations regarding any issues that may impact production requirements.
oProactively plan for resource coverage to ensure all operational commitments are met on a daily basis. Immediately communicate any austere resource issues to management.
·Transportation Support
oMaintain proactive communication with Transportation regarding: Driver concerns (flagoff's) or any driver delivery issues, YMS yard hostler tasks, and 3rd party loads, either inbound and/or outbound.
oMust be able to operate YMS system. Must be able to train new EPs. Must be able to schedule trailer moves and run reports when needed.
·Warehouse Loading/Unloading requirements:
oEnsure all employees are trained on the most recent version of WMS, and all warehouse activities.
oEnsure all outside customers' loads are validated to ensure % accuracy of bills, system picks, and proper loading.
oWorks with Warehouse Clerk to ensure % compliance of load safety and security.
·Premise/Purchase requirements:
oCorrectly receive and verify supplier P.O.(s) and accurately account for all ordered pallets/cases, thru AVAIL(demand planning).
·Inventory Management:
oPerform periodic review of inventory through cycle count research and correction.
oAssist management in research and analysis of inventory discrepancies and its root cause:
oResearch all traceable contact points for inventory resolution.
oHelp identify process corrections with management to improve inventory accuracy.
oPerform physical and system checks of ordered pallets.
oEnsure all forklift operators complete the daily forklift inspection. Email the shop and ensure any identified discrepancies are immediately communicated to Forklift maintenance for resolution.
·Required to ensure the warehouse complies with all housekeeping directives and Food Safety regulatory compliance(s).
·May be required to work varying shifts, weekends and/or overtime if needed to meet customer demand.
·Carry out other duties as assigned.

Work environment
Working conditions will require both inside warehouse needs and outside pallet/tray production support. Temperature conditions will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold.
Required education and experience
1. Education:High School Diploma or GED; RequiredAssociate degree; Preferred
2. Computer Skills:Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including: SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
3. Experience:Must have 2 plus years of experience with a WMS application, or similar system functionality (Red Prairie, SAP, Manhattan, i.e.); RequiredPrevious supervisory experience; Preferred
4. Certification and License:Must be able to be forklift certified.
