Electrical Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will be responsible for managing electrical packages, coordinating teams, controlling costs, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities

Manage electrical works on commercial projects including offices, retail, healthcare, and mixed-use developments
*
Plan, schedule, and oversee project delivery from design review to handover
*
Manage project budgets, forecasts, valuations, and cost control
*
Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
*
Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
*
Manage RFIs, variations, and change orders
*
Oversee procurement of materials and plant
*
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
*
Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, NEC/BS standards, and company procedures
Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial construction
*
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installations
*
Experience managing budgets, programmes, and subcontractors
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
*
Excellent communication and leadership skills
*
Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
Desirable
*
Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
*
SMSTS or SSSTS
*
Experience working with Procore, MS Project, or similar systems
*
Background with an electrical contractor
