Housing Manager - Lettings Team
Salary up to £32,000 plus 34 days leave and health cash plan
Permanent, Full time (37.5 hpw),

What you’ll do
1. You’ll understand the community that you work in for our general needs, shared ownership and leasehold customers covering our homes in areas from Sunderland to Sheffield and decide on the necessary course of action.
2. You will work closely with our other housing management teams, and our development colleagues to ensure our properties are the appropriate standard for our new customers.
3. You will represent Home Group in our communities and being present on our estates undertaking Housing Manager tasks such as: pre tenancy visits, sign-ups and handovers of new stock.
4. You’ll undertake pre-allocation checks, ensuring we are compliant with our policies, practices and procedures.
5. You will also have involvement across our other housing management functions.

You have
6. A background in allocations & lettings management processes, either within the housing sector or an alternative sector.
7. An understanding of housing management, housing law, local lettings policies, section 106 agreements.
8. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a genuine desire to help your customers.
9. This job can challenge, especially when we’re dealing with complaints, but your resilience will help you through.
10. Confident working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities.

11. Hybrid working which involves working from home, in the community or one of your local offices.
12. You'll manage your own diary and be accountable for achieving KPI’s.
13. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle insured for business purposes. Don’t worry, we’ll pay your business mileage to cover this use!
14. You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
