Lecturer - Computing We are looking for a Lecturer in Computing to join our team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £31,410 to £43,440 per annum. Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities: To carry out formal scheduled teaching and complete registers for every lesson. To act as a personal tutor to a group/s of students. To prepare learning materials and students’ assignments. Timely and accurate marking of students’ work and examinations, moderation, verification and the provision of developmental feedback. Skills and Qualifications: Degree or equivalent qualification in a Computer Science/IT related subject. Recognised full teaching qualification. If applicant does not possess a teaching qualification they must undertake to successfully complete within an agreed timeframe. Qualification in English at Level 2 or above. Qualification in Maths at Level 2 or above. Knowledge and experience of a range of teaching strategies and techniques. Able to demonstrate the ability to use IT to support learners in a flexible learning environment including tracking learner progress.
