At ENGIE, we’re on a mission to accelerate the transition toward a carbon‑neutral world. We are looking to grow our engineering team to meet our generation and refurbishment challenges. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe operation, integrity, and performance of our electrical assets across the Dinorwig and Ffestiniog power stations.


Summary of What You Will Do

* Deliver plant refurbishment, maintenance, and replacement projects within assigned budgets
* Manage resources and contractors to meet business plan objectives and KPIs
* Provide expert advice and develop innovative solutions for electrical plant improvements
* Implement quality, environmental, health, and safety initiatives
* Conduct residual life assessments and advise on risk management for electrical assets
* Investigate and solve plant‑level problems to enhance performance
* Assist in developing maintenance and asset management strategies
* Contribute to budgetary planning and contract management


What You Will Bring to the Role

* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications/experience
* Detailed knowledge of electrical systems in the power industry
* Experience in managing contracts and holding roles such as Technical Officer
* IOSH Managing Safely certification (essential)
* Chartered status (desirable)
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to provide expert technical guidance
* Excellent project management and communication abilities
* Commitment to safety and environmental best practices
* Innovative thinker with a passion for continuous improvement


Job Based In

This is a site‑based role. You are expected to work at both Dinorwig and Ffestiniog power stations in the Snowdonia (Eryri) region of Wales.
