Join an exciting team in Devon and Cornwall who are managing a network of sites to enhance rivers, seas and wildlife. The role involves data checks, site visits and contributing to environmental asset management.
Responsibilities
* Carry out data checks using our online software and visit sites to collect information about their condition.
* Ensure information in our asset management database (AIMS OM) is up-to-date and accurate to keep sites operational and safe for staff and the public.
* Use information gathered to plan for future investment at these sites.
* Collaborate with colleagues from asset management in Area and National teams and other business functions as part of a nationwide community of practice.
* Respond to incidents as part of the role when required.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience using databases and spreadsheets.
* Ability to collate and interpret different sources of data accurately and efficiently.
* Ability to plan, track, and maintain data/information; work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills and proficiency with systems and applications.
* Attention to detail, efficiency, and perseverance with tasks.
* Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships.
* Full driving licence.
* Experience in asset management is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
Role Details
* Hybrid role with a mix of home working and regular office attendance at offices in Exeter, Launceston or Bodmin. Travel to sites is expected.
* Incidents response is a central part of the role.
