Are you an experienced bookkeeper looking for a fresh challenge within a dynamic and supportive accountancy practice?
A well-established firm based in London is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Client Bookkeeper to join their growing team. Working with a varied portfolio of clients, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, delivering excellent service, and building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients across various sectors
* Preparing VAT returns and submitting them in line with deadlines
* Reconciling bank statements and producing management accounts
* Supporting clients with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
* Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts where necessary
* Acting as a first point of contact for day-to-day client queries
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role within an accountancy practice
* Strong working knowledge of Xero and/or QuickBooks
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* AAT qualified or equivalent experience is preferred
