National Account Manager**
to join our high-performing Foodservice Sales Team. The world of Foodservice incorporates a hugely diverse range of outlets, from universities to hospitals, from gyms to workplace catering, from theme parks to delis.
As a
National Account Manager
, you will predominantly work with our wholesalers and contract caterers to build our business across all outlets, enabling us to get food the world loves into more people's hands. Naturally, this is a demanding role which will require drive, ambition, enthusiasm and creativity, combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, relationship building, forecasting and commercial acumen.
What Your Role Is
In this role, you'll take full
ownership of a portfolio of key accounts
, driving growth by balancing both the retention of existing business and the pursuit of new opportunities. You'll prepare and deliver robust annual sales plans while ensuring financial and volume forecasts are accurate and aligned on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
You'll be at the forefront of
delivering customer value
, executing agreed promotional plans within budget while constantly looking for ways to enhance performance through smarter revenue management opportunities. By staying close to market dynamics, you'll bring thought leadership to your customer, shaping strategies with a broad industry perspective and ensuring our categories are front and centre.
Execution excellence will be a critical part of your success. You'll
develop and implement account strategies
that maximise sales and profit for both parties, while leading customer engagement initiatives as part of a highly collaborative cross-functional team. Through strong internal and external partnerships, you'll ensure our plans don't just land — they deliver results.
What You Will Bring To The Team
You'll bring a proven track record in
FMCG sales and commercial account management
, with a strong background in the
foodservice and catering sector
. Experience working with contractor caterers and end-user customers will set you apart, as you'll know how to navigate complex buying groups and understand the nuances of serving this fast-moving, competitive channel.
