Responsibilities
* Provide advanced level technical support for designing, maintaining, and optimizing global network security systems.
* Create and enforce global network security standards, guidelines, and procedures.
* Implement secure network architectures and solutions. Perform technology and operational risk assessments, identifying control gaps and risky or problematic configurations.
* Work with stakeholders to drive remediation of security issues.
* Promote security awareness and advise on secure operational practices across IT and the organization.
Required Proficiencies
* Expert - securing & managing Palo Alto Firewalls & Prisma Access
* Expert - network security standards, methodologies, and best practices
* Expert - knowledge of network-based vulnerabilities, threats, and risks
* Understanding of networking protocols and services
* Advanced knowledge of network access control (NAC) solutions and methodologies
* Hands‑on experience in network security operations and design
Nice to Have Proficiencies
* Forescout network access control
* Web Application Firewall (F5 and/or Cloudflare)
* Secure routing & switching
* Scripting, automation & orchestration
* Threat hunting
* Cisco ISE / RADIUS authentication
* Data center segmentation technologies
* Network authentication methodologies (PSK, certificates, SAML, etc.)
Competencies
* Must have a security mindset, well versed in general security principles and best practices.
* Ability to communicate in English clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
* Professional security certifications are a plus (CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc.).
* Ability to work within a team and with limited direction and guidance.
* Strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting and time‑management skills.
* Effective troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
