A requirement has been made to recruit a first-class Engines Category Leader on 3-6 Month Contract, based in a remote role in the UK. Position Summary: The Engine Category Procurement Leader oversees all procurement activities, driving cost improvement, supplier engagement, tariff and risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment. This role collaborates with internal and external teams to achieve procurement goals, ensures compliance with global policies, and supports strategic planning to align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead EMEA Engine procurement by managing cost projects, supplier relationships, and category strategies while reporting to senior leadership. Develop short and long-term plans, resolve resource conflicts, ensure compliance with global procurement processes, and support global purchasing priorities, including supplier capacity planning, cost optimisation, and occasional domestic/international travel. Candidate – Engines Category Leader – Generator Manufacturer – 3-6 Month Contract: * Purchasing or supply chain history with proven experience (5 -10 years minimum) in Engines. * Proficiency in purchasing tools (ERP, e-sourcing) and negotiation techniques * Professional English required, French would be a plus * Analytical skills, rigor, autonomy and excellent interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in project mode and manage priorities. * Remote role and located in the UK.
