Flintshire and Wrexham (East) CAMHS are seeking a Family Therapist to join our service. You will have a main base and work with our other team members as needed, alongside our other Family Therapists.
This is a full-time, permanent position. Relocation packages are available.
You will deliver high-quality family therapy to children, young people, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties, within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a dynamic Family Therapist to contribute to our systemic and family therapy services across East CAMHS. Flintshire and Wrexham CAMHS is a dedicated service for children, young people, and families.
Our services include early intervention and prevention, unscheduled care, Early Years services, and a broad range of NICE-recommended and evidence-based interventions. We collaborate closely with multi-agency partners, maintaining strong relationships.
Regular training, weekly peer case discussions, multidisciplinary team meetings, and team away days are part of our routine. Supervision is provided by our Senior Family Therapist. The successful candidate will also be involved with a network of Family Therapists across North Wales CAMHS.
The main duties include offering family therapy, providing clinical supervision and consultation, participating in training, supporting systemic thinking within the team, and contributing to service development.
Proficiency in Welsh is desirable; both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged to apply.
