Building Surveyor
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000

About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well‑established consultancy to recruit a Building Surveyor.
You will be joining a team delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors, including education, commercial, healthcare, and care environments. This role offers excellent exposure to varied workstreams and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and professional team.
You will play a key role in delivering surveying services across multiple projects, contributing to both technical and client‑facing aspects of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations
* Produce detailed schedules of works
* Undertake contract administration duties across projects
* Assess rebuild costs for insurance purposes
* Support and deliver planned maintenance programmes
* Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams across multiple sectors
Requirements
* Degree‑qualified in Building Surveying or equivalent
* Strong understanding of core building surveying services
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
* Keen to develop professionally within the industry
