Social Worker - Support & Family Safeguarding Team
Sanctuary Personnel has a new permanent position for a Social Worker within the Support & Family Safeguarding Team, based in Slough. Salary up to £48,776 per annum.
Responsibilities
* Undertake social work on allocated cases producing outcome-based plans, having regard to the needs of, and risks to, children and their families.
* Develop effective relationships with children, young people and their families to determine level of service required, ensure written plans are agreed with the CYP and their families, and reflect their views.
* Participate in routine auditing across the service to uphold high standards of social work practice and record keeping in line with the Quality Assurance Framework.
* Complete financial assessments and determine contributions and levels of needs/service where appropriate.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies (voluntary, community, schools, police, health, other statutory agencies/local resources networks) and internal partners.
* Maintain, monitor and review accurate records of all work, using the Integrated Children’s System where applicable.
* Move casework to other areas of service as appropriate with a clear transfer plan.
* Provide cover for the work of other team members and undertake projects and additional duties commensurate with the level of the job.
Requirements
* A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Registered or eligible for registration.
