From initial greeting through to departure our professionally trained security team are here to help. They control access to the village, assist with emergencies and ensure our guests have an enjoyable stay. We hope our guests never need them, but knowing we have a Security team on call all year‑round provides peace of mind and reassurance.
Duties
* Welcoming guests, visitors, and colleagues to the village daily
* Carrying out vehicle, cycle, and foot patrols, conducting vehicle checks
* Escorting colleagues moving high volume items across the village
* Responding to emergencies, including liaising with the emergency services and writing incident reports
* Remain calm under pressure, communicate competently both verbally and in writing. A First Aid qualification is essential and full training will be given if necessary.
Hours of Work
You will be contracted to work 168 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts are generally 12 hours in length and can be either 6.30 am – 6.30 pm or 6.30 pm – 6.30 am. Because the village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
About You – Essential Requirements
* Good communication skills, both orally and written
* Ability to perform under pressure
* A good knowledge of IT systems
* Friendly, genuine, and warm towards colleagues and guests
* Full Driving Licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
* SIA door supervisor badge and First Aid at work certificate or willing to undertake training
