We are proud to be partnering with a prestigious four:star resort client in the Isle of Man to recruit an experienced and driven Food and Beverage Manager .
This is a key leadership appointment within a well:established hotel and golf resort known for delivering exceptional guest experiences and high operational standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the F and B division through an exciting period of development and investment.
The Role
As Food and Beverage Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day:to:day operation of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bars, room service, and event facilities.
This is a highly hands:on role suited to a strong operator who leads from the front, thrives on the floor, and sets the standard for service excellence. You will oversee a dynamic team focused on anticipating guest needs and delivering memorable hospitality experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full operational management of all F and B outlets
* Leading, motivating and developing department managers and team members
* Driving service standards in line with four:star AA expectations
* Supporting the strategic goal of achieving two AA Rosettes
* Managing budgets, cost control, stock management and GP performance
* Delivering revenue growth through promotions, upselling and team engagement
* Conducting daily pre:shift and pre:event briefings
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, licensing and health and safety legislation
* Overseeing recruitment, training and succession planning
* Maintaining accurate administrative and financial records
* Supporting audits and ensuring regulatory compliance

The Candidate
We are seeking a commercially astute and operationally strong F and B professional with a proven background in high:volume hotel environments.
You will demonstrate:
* A successful track record in hotel Food and Beverage management
* A visible, floor:based leadership style
* Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen
* Experience managing budgets, targets and cost controls
* Exceptional people management and coaching skills
* A passion for service excellence and guest satisfaction
* Excellent communication and organisational ability
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
* Familiarity with POS systems (desirable)
* Physical capability for a hands:on operational role
Candidates must be eligible to work in the Isle of Man.
