GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging lessons that develop computational thinking, programming skills, and digital literacy. As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will create interactive lessons that encourage problem-solving, creativity, and confidence with technology. Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging computing lessons as a Computer Science Teacher. Teach programming, algorithms, and key digital concepts. Encourage logical thinking, innovation, and collaboration. Work collaboratively with colleagues. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching computing or computer science in a school setting. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
