Are you passionate about supporting people? Do you have the skills and compassion to make a real difference in their lives? We are looking for Temporary Agency Workers to join our team in Newport and the surrounding areas, providing essential support in residential settings.
Pay: ££ p/h
Shifts: Days and nights
As a Care worker you will:
* Operate equipment, such as hoists, to assist with the moving and handling of the clients.
* Provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, light domestic duties, and meal times.
* Offer companionship and be a friendly face to the service users, to help with their emotional wellbeing.
* Communicate with families and other healthcare professionals effectively.
* Work in a person-centred way, ensuring the needs of the client are at the core of the service you provide.
* Ensure records are kept up to date and accurate.
Requirements:
* 6 months UK care experience.
* An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
* A caring personality and a strong desire to support others.
* A practical manual handling certificate.
