Turn IT on is seeking an ICT Consultant with a passion for technology and providing excellent customer service to support schools across Buckinghamshire.
You must own a vehicle and hold a full UK driving license, as the role involves visiting multiple school sites around Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include maintaining IT hardware and services across school sites, improving ICT provisions, and enabling effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions. You will facilitate communication with schools, manage customer accounts, maintain computer equipment, install software, provide technical support, and resolve technical issues. Good knowledge of user applications and Microsoft Office365 is essential.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in ICT support, preferably in the education sector, though this is not essential. A strong technical background, self-motivation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly are required. You should be able to work independently, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and proactively seek service improvements.
Responsibilities Include
* Resolve technical issues impacting school operations with robust solutions.
* Install or repair computers, diagnose problems, and ensure network and desktop functionality.
* Respond to technical duties related to networks and desktop services, including hardware such as iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, PA equipment, AV lecterns, and other hardware.
This full-time, year-round role requires successful candidates to undergo enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.
