The role
is based upon the hours of Monday- Friday 0800-1730.
Purpose of the role:
The Premises Manager role encompasses all aspects of site maintenance and requires supervision of a small facilities team. A building trade is desirable but not essential.
Duties will include:
1. All building and site repairs, – Health and safety compliance – Fire risk analysis and compliance – Security – Plumbing – COSHH – General maintenance
2. Planning preventative maintenance.
3. Co-ordinate repairs and perform compliance tests.
4. Manage email correspondence and facilitate maintenance requests from staff.
5. Order parts, chemicals and stock in accordance with the budget and purchasing procedures.
6. Maintaining and ensuring compliance with all appropriate health and safety regulations.
7. Co-ordinate the maintenance staff for daily work requirements
8. Carpentry and plumbing as may be required.
9. To be an out of hours duty phone holder on a rosta basis to be agreed
10. Providing phone support and to be a primary response contact in case of emergency.
11. Assisting with snow clearing, de-icing and other hazards that may arise.
Competencies, knowledge and skills required
12. Excellent maintenance skills
13. Full, clean driving licence – own transport is essential due to workplace location
14. Excellent communication skills.
15. High levels of attention to detail and safety
