Digital Learning Specialist – NHS
Design, develop and embed digital learning solutions across the organisation, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring effective use of the Learning Management System.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead liaison with stakeholders to scope, produce and review learning materials.
 * Create learning objectives, assemble content, and develop or update courses.
 * Design and produce interactive digital assets (animations, video, e‑learning, guides).
 * Maintain and customise the Learning Management System, ensuring courses are accessible and up‑to‑date.
 * Train staff on LMS use and monitor learning effectiveness through data collection and analysis.
 * Co‑develop marketing activities and promote learning initiatives.
 * Apply best practices in instructional design and stay current with emerging learning technologies.
 * Recruit and coordinate third‑party technical expertise where required.
 * Act as deputy to the Digital Learning and Operations Manager when warranted.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential: IT or media design qualification at A Level or BTEC (or equivalent), proven experience in blended learning environments, mastery of MS Office, strong organisational and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, commitment to inclusivity.
Desirable: Experience with e‑learning authoring tools (Storyline, Articulate, Vyond, Camtasia, etc.), contemporary online learning platforms, and implementation of learning‑culture strategies.
Employment Details
Fixed‑term, 19‑month contract; full‑time, flexible working, home or remote.
