Senior Warehouse Operative - £27,833 to c£32,400 Per year
Location: Sheffield
Full Time | Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm

Join our team in Sheffield as a senior warehouse operative, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate stock intake, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Main Purpose of the Role
To take day-to-day responsibility for the receipt and put-away of all inbound materials, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to both company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and book in all inbound goods and vehicles
* Administer booking-in control documents efficiently
* Physically check all inbound deliveries against receipt documents
* Input accurate data into business systems for all received stock
* Supervise and support inventory put-away using various forklift types
* Train and mentor team members as required
* Allocate daily tasks and monitor team activities
* Follow company policies, good practice and Health & Safety protocols at all times
* Deputise for the Goods Receipt Team Leader when needed
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the working area
* Assist with customer quality complaint documentation
* Represent the company professionally, promoting a positive image at all times

What We're Looking For
* Experience in goods receipt, warehouse, or logistics roles
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in data input and basic IT systems
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive attitude towards health, safety, and compliance
* Qualified to drive a range of MHE including counterbalance, reach
