Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatrics position requiring dual KS/MO licensure and recent pediatric experience.
Responsibilities Work in the pediatric unit of a hospital setting
Primarily caring for pediatric patients
Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Assignments may involve floating between two facilities approximately 12 miles apart in Kansas and Missouri
Uses Cerner charting system
First time travelers are welcome to apply
Medication/dosage pass/fail test administered during the first week
Locals are accepted at the same rate; no radius restrictions
Facility is smoke free
Requirements Active KS RN license and either MO or compact RN license required
Current AHA BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Pediatric nursing experience required (minimum 1-2 years)
Clean Nursys verification needed
Must pass a medication/dosage test with 100% score in up to three attempts
