Mechanical Engineer - Didcot
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well‑established site based in Didcot. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable role within a professional facilities management environment.
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Location: Didcot
Key responsibilities
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
* Working on plant equipment including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and basic HVAC systems
* Undertaking plumbing repairs and general mechanical works
* Completing plant room checks and ensuring all equipment is operating efficiently
* Supporting with fault finding and minor repairs across building services
* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
* Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks and compliance checks
Requirements
* Previous experience in a mechanical or building services maintenance role
* Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
* Experience working within commercial or facilities management environments
* Relevant mechanical or plumbing qualifications (desirable)
* Must be able to pass a basic DBS check
