We are looking to appoint an experienced, inspiring and dynamic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team. We would encourage you to apply if you want to work in an environment that allows leaders to be creative in their approach and supports them to further their own development and that of those that they line manage.
We are an all-through school (Primary – Secondary), and as a Senior/Middle Leader we work closely, sharing good practice and experience across the whole school.
The ideal candidate would have experience or an interest in working with children with severe SEMH and behavioural difficulties, either in a mainstream or special/PRU school environment. You must have strong classroom management skills and relevant successful experience as a middle or senior leader. Having additional experience as a SENCO, around data or teaching and learning, would be very beneficial, but not essential.

Wandle Valley Academy is part of the Parallel Learning Trust (PLT) which is a Multi Academy Trust committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils attending the Academy. As the duties of this post involves regular contact with children, any offer to the successful candidate will be conditional upon an Enhanced Disclosure being obtained via the Disclosure and Barring Service, medical clearance and satisfactory references.
We will also consider carrying out an online search on shortlisted candidates to help identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
