Description of the role:
* Leading the development of products by exploring new designs, materials and techniques.
* Working closely with the production team and technical service team to identify challenges.
* Ensuring tooling and material flows support with your design ideas.
* Creating functional models and mock-up designs to test design concepts.
* Choosing new materials and optimising them for production processes.
* Ensuring all designs and materials align with the performance goals of the product.
About you:
* Experience in 3D, AutoCAD and Solidworks.
* Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, product design or mechanical engineering.
* Experience with product testing, performance evaluations and applying feedback.
* 10 years’ experience of working within the uPVC/Aluminium industry.
* Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
