Overview
Panoramic Associates are supporting a Local Authority through a digital transformation programme, modernising how services are delivered to residents. They are scaling AI assisted tools, intelligent automation, and data engineering capabilities to improve service quality and reduce operational costs.
Key Information
* Location: Hybrid working (Midlands)
* Contract: Permanent or Day Rate
* Salary: up to £55,000, or £400 a day
Role Summary
You will be an experienced automation or data engineer with a track record of delivering measurable transformation within a complex organisation, ideally in the public sector. Ability to work independently is key – you will be a trusted member on the team.
Responsibilities
* Manage delivery of automation and data projects
* Design and implement intelligent automation, integration solutions, and scalable data pipelines
* Identify opportunities council-wide
* Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
* Senior level experience as an automation or data engineer
* Proven track record of measurable transformation within a complex organisation, preferably in the public sector
* Strong experience with Microsoft stack, UI Path, Blue Prism, Power Automate, and alternative low/no-code solutions
* Ability to collaborate across multiple service areas within a Local Authority
