Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer. This is a permanent role with salary up to circa £60,000 plus benefits/contributory pension etc. Working within the Greater Manchester region working on infrastructure and waste water projects. Responsibilities Produce geotechnical & civil engineering design deliverables, including calculations, reports & drawings Lead preparation of ground investigations (GI) specifications, interpretive reports & design documentation Ensure designs comply with technical standards, industry regulations & internal quality processes Participate in design reviews & Hazop/Hazid meeting etc Undertake estimates for projects and monitor delivery progress Manage and record all design changes Mentor and direct more junior staff Skills and Experience required for the Geotechnical Design Engineer role: Minimum10 years of experiencein geotechnical and/or civil engineering design. Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles, site investigations, and reporting. HND or Degree-qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or similar discipline. Proficient in engineering software and general IT tools. Registered with a professional organisation and actively working towards Chartership. Previous experience in regulated infrastructure environments (e.g., rail, utilities, highways, nuclear, oil & gas). Full details of the
