About this Role
We are looking for a Duty Manager to join the team at The Sports Centre. The successful applicant will assist with the day‑to‑day running of the busy commercial operation and supervise a team of leisure assistants and casual lifeguards to ensure smooth running of the Sports Centre and other College facilities.
Responsibilities
* Assist with day‑to‑day operations of the Sports Centre.
* Supervise a team of leisure assistants and casual lifeguards.
* Ensure smooth running of the Sports Centre and other College facilities.
* Work on a rota basis, including evenings and some weekends.
Qualifications
* Team player with enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment to customer care.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Flexible approach to working hours.
* Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or willingness to attend the next course.
* Commitment to keep NPLQ training up to date.
