Overview
At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you’re looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force offers contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, with the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments. Shifts are offered across our care homes in the Northwich area, providing a variety of opportunities and flexibility to shape your working week. Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may not always be consecutive, including days, nights and weekends. As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you’ll travel between a cluster of our homes, which is an essential and expected part of the role.
The homes include: Daneside Court, CW9 5JA; Daneside Mews, CW9 5JA; Acorn Meadow, CW9 7QA; Acorn Hollow, CW9 7QA; Overdene House, CW7 1HJ.
Responsibilities
* Supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
* Helping residents with limited mobility.
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of residents on and off site.
* Delivering care that respects residents’ dignity and individuality, including providing emotional support and participating in activities within the care home.
Requirements
* A driving licence with access to a vehicle would be advantageous but is not essential.
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; you should recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as needed.
* Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered and time-limited visas cannot be considered.
* Ability to work across different homes within the cluster to support flexible staffing needs.
