Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of the multidisciplinary team delivering care to patients within the outpatient setting under supervision provided by a registered healthcare professional.
* Undertake personal care activities and clinical care duties with minimal support and supervision as delegated by a registered healthcare professional in accordance with the HEIW All Wales Guidelines for Delegation.
* Ensure the registered healthcare professional is regularly updated on the patients'/client's condition and progress.
* Ensure the working environment is safe and hygienic following infection prevention and control policies and processes.
* Contribute to the teaching and supervision of students and junior staff.
* Deliver the role in accordance with Health Board/Trust Values and the Code of Conduct for HCSW's in Wales.

The Children's Outpatient's Department is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our small, friendly team. As a department we offer a range of services to children and families and constantly seek ways to develop our service. This is an exciting opportunity for those wishing to learn and develop skills in a supportive environment.
About the Department and Opportunities
The Outpatient department works closely with our paediatric department and there may be occasions where staff will undertake clinical shifts on the paediatric ward. Speaking Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
