Salary: QUEST Grade D, £22,789 - £24,700 per annum. £14.12 - £15.31 per hour

37 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Temporary Pastoral Co-Ordinator to provide vital pastoral care and support to our pupils’ mental and physical welfare. You will play a key role in encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour throughout our schools, ensuring every pupil feels supported and empowered to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver pastoral care focused on pupils’ mental and physical wellbeing, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes.
* Complete Early Helps, Pastoral Support Plans (PSPs), and Personal Education Plans (PEPs), attending relevant meetings and reporting regularly to the Expert SENDCo.
* Update and manage pastoral record systems and assist the Designated Person with child protection responsibilities, ensuring thorough analysis and agreed actions.
* Manage the attendance policy and procedures in collaboration with the Headteacher/Expert SENDCo, monitoring attendance and implementing interventions.
* Deliver pre-determined Individual Education Plans (IEPs), PEPs, PSPs, and SEMH interventions, identifying and reporting pupils needing additional support.

Required Qualifications & Experience

* Experience working in a pastoral role within an educational or similar setting.
* Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding protocols.
* Ability to manage and maintain detailed records and reports.
* Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH needs and delivering targeted interventions.
* Competence in liaising with multi-agency teams and parents.
