Weekly Paid Night-time Hours Available!
We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced Night-Time Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at a well-established care home in Littleover. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide essential overnight support to our elderly residents in a warm and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our night staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of residents living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as those receiving respite care. Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting regular well‑being checks
* Assisting with personal care for both male and female residents
* Supporting mobility needs using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas
* Responding promptly and compassionately to call bells
* Carrying out light domestic duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications
* Practical moving and handling certificate dated within the last six months
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
* Up‑to‑date mandatory training—including practical moving and handling training dated within the past 6 months
* Referenceable work history covering a minimum of three years
* At least three months of previous experience within a UK-based care home setting
If you do not currently have a valid DBS or up‑to‑date training, don’t worry—we can help. We offer online training at a subsidised fee, and the certificates are yours to keep.

Employment terms
* We have Full Time and Part Time Roles available.
* The hours are 20:00 to 08:00 on various nights between Monday to Sunday.
* You will be paid £13.00 per hour.
