Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, utilising a broad range of editing tools and techniques. The ideal applicant will possess a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in various Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Duties
* Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
* Incorporate graphics, colour grading, sound effects, and music to enhance visual storytelling.
* Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for upcoming projects.
* Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
* Utilise programmes such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator to create engaging visual content.
* Maintain organised project files and assets for easy retrieval and future use.
* Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and techniques to continually improve output quality.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
* Experience with Final Cut Pro is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of photography principles and basic colour correction techniques.
* Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression methods.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
* Creative flair combined with attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
