Civils Sales Negotiator
OA are recruiting for a Civils Sales Negotiator to join our client’s highly successful and growing team.
We’re looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Civils Sales Negotiator with strong knowledge of the construction industry and proven experience in selling civil engineering materials. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid sales track record who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with customers
Location: Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead
Hours: Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (office-based). Optional Saturday overtime available, paid at time and a half.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 – depending on experience

Civils Sales Negotiator Key Responsibilities
6. Proactively identify and act on new civils sales opportunities
7. Sell civil engineering and building materials profitably to both trade and retail customers
8. Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times
9. Build and maintain strong trading relationships with both customers and suppliers
10. Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to meet and exceed targets
11. Negotiate confidently at all levels to maximise opportunities
Civils Sales Negotiator Skills and Experience
12. Extensive knowledge of the construction industry, particularly civil engineering materials
13. A proven track record in sales, ideally within the builders’ merchants or construction supply sector
14. Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
15. Excellent customer service skills
16. Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
