The Airline Solutions Product Management team is looking for a Portfolio Strategy Lead to support the modernisation of its portfolio of products towards Airline Retailing.

Summary of the role
You will shape the future of the portfolio of products for airlines, working with the leadership team and cross functionally with product managers, product marketers, engineers and commercial teams to identify customers’ needs, market trends, and formulate strategic responses through studies and recommendations.
In this role you will
Evolve our portfolio of products – Manage the evolution of our portfolio of products from their incubation to their decommission. Ensure our products line up is consistent, aligned with the overall strategy, and answer customers’ needs. Maintain an accurate picture of our portfolio at all times.
Drive strategic studies – Lead, participate in, or influence strategic studies which help define the organisation position on intricate questions impacting how we build products.
Help defining the portfolio direction – Support the leadership team to take portfolio decisions (e.g., priorities, investments, …) by preparing recommendations and developing compelling narratives backed by data and customer needs.
Represent Product Management across the organisation – Collaborate with Product Marketing and Engineering to align on product initiatives. Discuss Amadeus-wide initiatives with central strategy teams and other business lines (e.g., Distribution, Payment).
Conduct continuous discovery – Identify customers needs and associated portfolio opportunities by analysing portfolio performance, market research, and consolidate inputs from across the business.
This role does not have direct reports.
About the ideal candidate
Experience creating and executing strategies for a major product or a suite of products.
Experience working across Product, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams in an Enterprise or B2B Scale-up environment.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience using written and verbal communication to influence diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
An interest for, and an understanding of, the travel technology landscape.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with airline commercial technology, or non-airline retailing technology.
Experience leading virtual teams to deliver projects in accordance with scope and timeline.
Experience conducting data analysis using technologies such as Python or SQL is a plus.
Good technical acumen, with an understanding of system design, cloud architecture, or programming is a plus.
