Job Title: Teacher of Religious Studies — Location: Secondary School - Leyland — Contract: Long-term position with potential for Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate — Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
* Motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and enrichment opportunities related to Religious Studies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards across the department.
We are looking for
* Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4.
* Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for RS.
* Can build positive relationships with students and manage behaviour effectively.
* Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development.
* Brings enthusiasm and creativity to their teaching.
