Established in 2000, MM Band Services is a premium sleeper bus provider to the touring music industry, serving artists and crews across the UK and Europe. The Role
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our team at our Burstwick head office. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our sales function within the exciting world of music touring and live events.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and business growth
* Oversee incoming enquiries and ensure prompt, professional responses
* Generate accurate and competitive quotes for sleeper bus bookings and tour logistics
* Work closely with your sales assistant to coordinate activities and maintain workflow
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tour managers, and industry contacts
* Identify new business opportunities and contribute to brand awareness initiatives
* Collaborate with the operations and transport teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
* Maintain accurate records using our CRM system (Salesforce)
* Contribute to marketing initiatives and customer retention strategies
* Represent MM Band Services at industry events and trade shows across Europe and the USA
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales management or senior sales role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to generate accurate quotes and manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience is advantageous)
* Customer-focused approach with a commitment to exceptional service
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
* Willingness to travel internationally as required
* Valid UK driving licence
Desirable
* Experience in the music, entertainment, or transport/logistics sectors
* Knowledge of the touring industry and its unique requirements
* Understanding of seasonal business cycles
* Existing contacts within the music touring industry

* Competitive salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience
